Car Boot Booty Thrift Haul #3 |
It’s Sunday again and time for me to show you what I picked up at the car boot sale today.
This morning, the sky was looking rather overcast and the wind was howling so not surprisingly, there were quite a few less stalls there than on warmer days but I did still manage to pick up a few bargains!
Leopard Print Canvas Bag Car Boot Booty Thrift Haul #3 |
Firstly, I picked up this leopard print canvas bag which is really handy for taking shopping. It was only £0.10p!
Green Sequin Leopard Print Slouchy Bag Car Boot Booty Thrift Haul #3 |
Then I picked up another bag which is this green sequin leopard print slouchy bag originally from Primark. It was from the same seller and only 20p!
Dorothy Perkins Leopard Print Sequin Dress Car Boot Booty Thrift Haul #3 |
This leopard print dress was also from the same seller as the two other leopard print items above. It’s in lovely condition and is originally from Dorothy Perkins. It’s completely covered in sequins which makes me feel like a scaly fish but it is a really glitzy going out type of dress which would catch the light and dazzle nicely. Unfortunately, it is also an odd asymmetrical design with one side sleeveless and one side with a short sleeve which I didn’t notice at the time of purchasing. This just doesn’t look right on me and I personally don’t like the weird sleeve design at all! But at least it was only £0.30p so I’m not too disappointed!
Soap & Glory Butter Yourself Moisture Lotion Car Boot Booty Thrift Haul #3 |
This Soap and Glory Butter Yourself Body Lotion is Brand New and currently retails for £10 on the Boots website whereas I picked this up for £1.25!
Soap & Glory Flake Away Body Scrub Boot Booty Thrift Haul #3 |
This Soap and Glory Flake Away scrub was another bargain as it’s practically brand new. This isn’t the best photo but I wanted to demonstrate that although the product looks a little dry and unappealing on top, the consistency was still there and it became smooth, creamy and moist as soon as I mixed it up. The oils had settled to the bottom and as a salt based scrub, it has a natural tendency to dry out. Because this didn’t look so wonderful at first, I actually haggled the seller down from £2 to £1. I also have to say that although this may be a cult classic, it isn’t the best looking scrub in the world and my BF remarked that it looks like curry sauce and I have to admit that he does have a point! Still, it smells divine and feels really scrubby which is what I want from a body scrub. This currently retails for £8 on the Boots website.
