Sparkly sequin top coats have been popular for a couple of years now but perhaps surprisingly, I’ve never owned one of these before. Whilst browsing the makeup section in my local 99p Store, I spotted this and excitedly skipped to the checkout!
This is a Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure Sequin Overcoat Nail Polish in the shade ‘Over the Rainblue’. This was released last December in a holiday collection containing seven sequin top coats. It is so fitting for this time of year and I just think that it makes the perfect party nail polish!

Over the Rainblue contains large and medium blue glitter with holographic silver glitter tinsel encased in a clear polish which makes a beautiful combination of texture and colour. The way that the holographic silver tinsel catches the light is truly stunning.

I’ve swatched two coats of this below on a plain nail wheel so you can see what it looks like when worn alone but of course this can be layered on top of any nail polish to give a nearly endless array of different manicures.

I really need to pick up some more glitter for party season!! I love glitterry nails and they have a peel off undercoat now to stop it being such a pain to take them off! xx
