I’m currently using some new blackhead fighting products from the blackhead killer range at Stylelux UK. They come nicely packaged in a gift boxed set that contains a cleanser, moisturiser and five individual sachets of face masks.
The Blackhead Killer Facial Cleanser is designed to unclog pores and prevent blackhead breakouts. It’s quite a creamy formula that leaves my skin feeling clean and refreshed. This is dermatologically tested and suitable for all skin types. However, different skin types may benefit from using this product in different ways. As I have combination skin, I like to use this once a day, every other day. If you have oily skin, you could use this every day or maybe even twice a day. If you have dry skin, this might be something you would only want to use once or twice a week to give your skin a really good cleanse.
The Blackhead Killer Facial Moisturiser is a hydrating formula which treats redness, irritation and prevents further blackhead outbreaks. This moisturiser also helps to close pores which is great as sometimes I do suffer with enlarged pores, particularly on my forehead and around my nose. This feels rich and has a creamy consistency but it’s not too heavy or greasy. I find this ideal for daily use at night. I like to apply creams like this before bed as it gives them chance to work their magic while I sleep and helps my skin to renew itself overnight.
I’ve already reviewed the Blackhead Killer face masks here. They are quite a unique product and are a bit like a giant nose pore strip for your face as they really do remove a lot of grime and impurities from the skin in one easy step. This is definitely best applied in a single, even layer as you should only leave this for 10 – 15 minutes to dry before peeling it off otherwise it can be difficult to remove. There is enough in one sachet for two applications which is great.
This luxury Blackhead Killer Gift Set is actually a very unisex product making it ideal for both men and women. The set isn’t cheap at £89.00 and I do feel that the packaging could look more high end but it’s the actual products that count and these may be worth a try if you are struggling with blackhead breakouts as I’ve found them to be very effective at clearing breakouts and unclogging skin. There is a generous 100ml of product in both the facial cleanser and moisturizer so that makes it slightly more cost effective overall.

When I get breakouts I just exfoliate everyday and moisturize and try really hard to just leave them only and pray that they go away quickly (:
Hi Genevieve, glad you like the sound of the mask! It's a really interesting product and kind of like a giant nose pore strip for your entire face!! It's available from here: https://stylelux.co.uk/beauty-accessories/5-acne-killer-10-ml
Great advice!! I always try to avoid picking at them because I hate it when a spot leaves a red mark that takes about a year to fade! xx
