BARGAIN MAKEUP HAUL – £1 Each!

I went shopping for discounted makeup and beauty bargains which resulted in me spending all of £6 on this little bargain makeup haul which should have cost over £36.00. Do you want to know how I did it? Read on to find out…

I picked up six different products from Poundland, TK Maxx and Boots, all for £1 each. I’m happy to report that I made some massive savings on this makeup. I saved a total of over £30.00 off the original RRP in this small bargain makeup haul! 

Four out of the six items were discounted products from well known High Street brands! One item is from a premium beauty brand and one item is a permanently low priced product from a little know Dutch makeup brand.

This little bargain makeup haul has a mixture of premium, High Street and budget products but the one thing they all have in common is that they only cost me £1 to buy!

One of the things I like most about today’s mini bargain makeup haul is that everything I picked up is really useful makeup that can be thrown into my everyday makeup bag and used daily as it’s all quick, easy and wearable. There isn’t any metallic purple lipsticks or green duo-chrome nail polishes in today’s bargain makeup haul! This haul is full of sensible essentials like face powder, brow products and neutral eyeshadows.

Here’s a breakdown of the costs and the savings I made:

Right, onto the bargain makeup haul now! I’ll start with Poundland, then TK Maxx and then finally Boots. Enjoy!

POUNDLAND

With a special cream to powder formula that is easy to apply and blend. Can be applied dry or wet, depending on the desired final effect Features a built-in mirror and applicator perfect for quick touch ups on the go.

The regular Bourjois Little Round Pots are usually lovely and these intense pots are typically even better. I’m sure that this will prove itself to be a useful little bargain as it probably makes for an easy everyday all-over-lid shade or brow bone highlight. I might even try to use this as a cheeky little cheek highlighter too!

TIGI LONGWEARING CRÈME EYESHADOW in BROWN SUGAR, 4g

A quick drying creme to powder eye shadow that allows for lustrous shimmer and shine.

TIGI is quite a renowned brand when it comes to hair care so it will be interesting to see how their makeup fares in terms of quality. Although TIGI as a brand are known for their high quality, they are not known for their makeup! So, this will be an interesting product to test out! I do enjoy creme to powder formulas as they tend to set nicely and wear well. This shade also looks like a nice wearable neutral.

Removes Shine And Fixes Your Makeup!

This looks and sounds like a Max Factor dupe to me! Max and More are an established Dutch makeup brand that’s new to Poundland. It’s a value brand that’s sold elsewhere in the UK too including in Homebargains. I like the shade of this powder as its pure white and that’s actually probably just fine for my pale skin although I’m guessing it’s actually supposed to be translucent once applied to the skin. I will find out soon, once I’ve tried it!

TK MAXX

Introducing our first ever brow powder! The soft powder texture and thick-to-thin applicator make achieving boldly filled brows easy.

Yet another brow product! This is in another interesting sounding brow product that seems to offer a fairly innovative format. I like the fact that this is a brow powder as I think powder is a good choice for filling brows in whilst keeping the overall effect pretty lowkey.

I’ve been shopping at TK Maxx for makeup more and more recently because they have some really good beauty stuff in there including a lot of palettes! I usually end up spending way more than I’d like to in there so today was a good day! I kept it simple with this little budget brow find and it’s the perfect find to add to my bargain makeup haul!

Boots Seventeen Makeup has been around from the very start of my makeup journey as a teenager. It’s hard to believe that the brand won’t be around for much longer after being discontinued. But trendier and more fast-paced budget makeup brands have emerged in recent years and I’m guessing that Seventeen probably just couldn’t keep up.

Their Miracle Matte Pressed Powder is probably my most repurchased product ever! And soon I will never be able to repurchase it again! So needless to say, I had to stock up with a few while I have the chance. The 75% reduction has slightly soothed my pain about losing this brand along with my favourite face powder, forever.

RIP Seventeen. And goodbye Miracle Matte Pressed Powder. I will miss you!
