To all those who celebrate, Happy Christmas and welcome to my first time memeing in Memes: Christmas Edit.
Christmas brings out all kinds of thoughts and emotions and it’s associated with a lot of happiness. But anyone can have a difficult time even at the best of times and then Christmas can make coping with it all a little bit harder.
I hope that my memes might be apt at communicating a snapshot of just some of the passing thoughts, feelings and realities that we typically encounter at this time of year.
It’s not always easy to laugh but I think it’s always good to laugh.
I hope I can add a little bit of festive cheer and comfort through my first ever memes. It’s been great to have a go at creating a few Christmas memes myself and of course, these are all absolutely free to download or share.
The Meaning of Memeing…
What can I say about memes? Well, memes are incredible at defining the otherwise undefinable. They could mean anything or everything and sometimes, not much at all. It all comes down to the interpretation and that makes me think that memes can almost speak their own language.
Memes can communicate messages that resonate and they feel like a new form of communication. There’s something comforting and primitive about memes as they can often speak to us effortlessly and convey a huge meaning with a simple piece captioned imagery.
I love memes. I related so well to many good ones I’ve seen online recently and I wanted to have a go at making some festive memes myself.
Behind The Memes: Christmas Edit
These memes are the result of my first attempt at spontaneously creating a few based on the ideas that came to me at the time.
I’d been feeling inspired given that I always appreciate seeing a good meme and they’re seem to be loads around right now as I think a lot of people need to express how they’re feeling and welcome a bit of humor.
Christmas can be an anxious time for many reasons. It’s even harder to feel anxious at a time when we feel like we should be celebrating. So this is one small way I’m doing something to try and spread a little Christmas cheer this year.

‘If I can make at least one person laugh, for just one second with any of these, then I’m happy!’
To be fair, my boyfriend did laugh at them and seemed to like them but obviously, he’s biased! So, I’d love to know what you guys think and hope you like them.

I really enjoyed having a go at creating these memes. I’m not sure if my style and humor is quite there yet but it’s my first ever go and I wanted to share them in case they gave anyone a laugh.
Creating a few memes has also been quite a fun way to pass some time creatively.
Maybe you guys might want to have a go too, if you haven’t tried it already. There are meme generators that are quick and simple but I prefer using a photo editing app.

Laughter is the best medicine… and a useful PR Tool
I recommend having a go at creating a meme or two, it’s good fun.
Apparently, memes can be a great way for creators to promote themselves across social media, so they might be useful to those of you who are ambitious about increasing your following.
I’m already happy with my small following so they’re really just a bit of fun to me but I still think it’s always worth putting in your website’s watermark just in case anyone sees it who might like to visit your site or page.
